About Hawarden Brasserie

There are some restaurants where you just feel instantly at home, like a regular, even if it's your first visit.
Where no matter what sort of day you've had, stepping into the warmth and being made to feel so welcome seems to make everything right with the world.
Where, when looking at the menu, it's less about what you feel in the mood for and more about planning when you can come back for your next visit and try all the other things you fancy.
Where the menu is full of lots of seasonal, local produce because it tastes better, not because it's the trendy thing to do. Where the food is interesting, exciting and ever so slightly different and beautifully presented whether you've ordered a sandwich or a fillet steak.

Popped in on the off chance last night. Two of us were accommodated without a prior booking, and we had a couple of steaks that were absolutely brilliant. The service was excellent and I would have no hesitation in returning, or recommending.

'A real find' - tucked away not ten miles from Chester is the superb 'Brasserie' - We went for the first time last Saturday evening and the whole dining experience was superb.
From the attentive staff and Manager (Kevin) to superbly presnted, well cooked food from a varied menu, the whole evening was a most pleasurable experience.
This is one of those restaurants that from the outside doesn't look all glitz and galamour, but open the door and the ambience of the interior, service, and food make this a restaurant which you most definitely will return to again and again.

We have just come home after a wonderful meal at the Hawarden Brasserie. The starters were duck spring rolls and mushroom and cheese tart and both were delicious, handmade and garnished with the freshest possible salad. For mains we had the lamb on crushed new potatoes and cod loin on pesto mash Again both were delicious and perfectly presented. The sweets were chocolate tart and rhubarb cheesecake and topped off a superb dining experience. If I had any influence I would recommend at least one michelin star. Fortunately we live quite near and can go on a regular basis and will do.
